How do I remove a receiver hitch with a padlock?

I just bought a Dodge pickup with a hitch that has been locked in place with one of those receiver hitch locks. They already had a good reputation locsmith try to pick the lock without success. Furthermore, there is much room for a grinding wheel to fit. Fixed issue, drilled out the heart and removes the lock. Thanks for the suggestions

Use a grinder, hacksaw or a stop at a mechanic shop and ask them to cut it.
