Thermage: Non-surgical face lift

Surgical face lifts that are used most commonly known procedures for the fight against aging. This procedure involves incisions in the skin near the hairline, then the facial muscles and skin are tightened before suturing. Anesthesia is needed for this fight anti-aging treatment.

However, with the development of new anti-aging surgical facelift is replaced nonsurgical procedures now lift the face, like Thermage, non-invasive and completely safe. The use of Thermage as a treatment against aging Skin care has been approved by the FDA in 2002. N at the surgical facelift takes less time compared with surgery, and because there involves scalpels or stitches, no recovery time needed after treatment. Patients can immediately resume work or other activities after undergoing a Thermage procedure.

What is involved in the Thermage process? First, the skin is cleaned to get rid of the oils and dirt. Then a special device called ThermaTip, delivery capacitive radiofrequency (CRF) in the deeper layers of skin or dermis. This CRF helps to heat the layers collagen under the skin, helping them become more stringent, and thus help the outer layer of skin to smooth and tighten well. The ThermaTip is passed to the surface of the skin, which cools the skin that touches and warms the layers below it. He felt a slight discomfort during the Thermage treatment is the alternative heating and cooling in some areas of the skin.

Thermage process can take half an hour to two hours depending on the amount of areas skin to be treated. Thermage The average cost is about $ 2,000. Thermage Side effects are mild blisters, bumps or redness in the treated areas.
