Do I need a turbo when you get a jet engine?

When you get a turbo charger in your car, makes compressed air go directly to the carboretor or the engine? Or do Carboretor remove air and sent to the turbocharger. If your into air and fuel in the engine, why do we need a fuel injector?

Hi, the turbo spins the exhaust and the other turns the air into the intake manifold for more air to burn. Really help if you live in the mountains. It in turn, goes faster and you do not notice loss of horse power.
