Walking outdoors and Clothing Advice: The system of stratification

Baselayers

Breathable Membranes

Gore-Tex Paclite

Lighter and more packable than two or three pieces layer, designed for ultra light mountaineering sports or other fast movements. Like two layer garments, fabric face joins the Gore-Tex membrane, but unlike of any of the other structures, resistant to abrasion raised bumps (or points) to protect the membrane.
