Ground Source Heat Pumps
The main difference between a field source heat pump and a conventional boiler to a conventional boiler is usually designed to heat the property between certain hours. This is accomplished by disposing a tremendous amount of heat in a short space of time. The property is heated, the boiler shuts down and cools the house again.
A ground source heat pump works differently to this. The ground source heat pump does not like very hot water production. A boiler conventional water could exit their radiators at a temperature of 70 degrees C. A heat pump can be achieved, but it would be inefficient to do so.
So the style of heating should be changed to adapt to a lower temperature heat production.
In general, this means that use heating underfloor heating (which operates at low temperature, perhaps 38 degrees C) or the radiators are large so they can operate at a lower temperature than normal (such time 50-55 degrees C).
When the outlet temperature of the system is reduced, it is vital that this heat is kept long enough to heat the entire building will increase.
The key to a good ground source heat pump installation is isolation. Great insulation will benefit from any home, whatever the type of heating system. However, for a floor heating source to operate without a backup is vital. This will be the property owner with a very efficient and profitable heating system.
Air Heat Pumps
Heat pump air source work in a similar way to the ground heat pumps extract heat but outside air instead of land. This heat is upgraded by a compressor circuit (similar to that found in the refrigerator).
Usually more than one year an Air Pump heat source could have an efficiency of about 330% when heated national home (including hot water). This means that for every unit Electricity generated using 3.3 units of heat.
A modern gas furnace high efficiency has an efficiency of about 90%. This massive efficiency advantage means that the system will save money on your fuel bills.
Comparing the system to a gas boiler should save around 30%. Taking into account the cost of oil, to replace an oil boiler the savings can be up to 60%.
This type of heat pump can also be used to heat swimming pools.
Land of the source against the Heat Pump Air Source Heat Pump, which is right for me?
The difference between these systems is that the air source Heat pumps do not need a ground loop, which extract heat from the air that surrounds us. The disadvantage with an air heat pump is that as the outside temperature decreases, air heat pump becomes less efficient in extracting heat.
Another fact of central heating systems is where most needed, when the temperature that is outside is lower. This means that air heat pumps are useful for heating properties that do not have the room or funds for a circuit land or the necessary heat when the ambient temperature is generally higher. This means that air heat pumps with solar water glazes are very useful for heating pool water.
In short, if you want to heat your home with electricity efficiently, consider a heat pump. If you has a ground source heat pump that will benefit from a good efficiency over the year.
Since the most important consideration among these two technologies is the annual return, it's worth knowing that a ground source system would have an efficiency of about 450% when an air supply system would of approximately 350%.
