Hydraulics is a branch of engineering science that deals with the mechanical properties of liquids and overall power fluids.

It also focused mainly on the engineering uses of fluid properties. The hydraulic system, therefore, derives its foundation theoretical fluid mechanics. Hydraulics covers a broad scope of topics ranging from science to engineering disciplines.

The concepts covered include design of the dam, turbines, pumps, circuits, pipe flow, hydropower, the river channel behavior and erosion.

The mechanisms by the principles of hydraulics are bulldozers, excavators, forklifts, cranes, loaders. The hydraulic is also the reason why we see cars that rose in the service centers so that technicians can work under them.

It also by the same technique that elevators work. Plane surfaces are managed and controlled by hydraulics, and even the brakes on our vehicles use a hydraulic system.

The idea behind is simple hydraulic systems. Affirms that the force applied at one point is transmitted to the next point with the use of a incompressible fluid, which is usually a type of oil. In the process, the force is multiplied.

In a simple hydraulic system, two pistons are connected by a tube that is filled by oil. These pistons are installed in two glass cylinders that are filled with oil. The glass bottles are connected by a tube filled with oil.

When force is applied to a piston, the force is transferred to the next piston through the oil in the pipeline. As the oil can not be compressed, the performance is very good because all of the applied force is shown in the second piston.

The tube, which connects the cylinders also can come in any length, shape and size, so that you can bend, twist or turn over all the things that separates the two pistons. This pipeline can also be a holder that simply means that a master cylinder can handle one or more slave cylinders.

In the hydraulic system, which is very important that the system eliminates air bubbles. The presence of air bubbles in the system affects its effectiveness as a force applied to a piston that compresses air in the bubble instead of transferring to the second piston.

The brakes on a car is the simplest example of a piston-driven hydraulic system. As the pedal brake is pressed down, it pushes the piston in the brake master cylinder. This action four-piston units of slaves to boost brake pads to the rotor brake so the car stops.
