How to replace your Air Filter dirty

Change the air filter should be a familiar and comfortable, and if not, you've come to the right place. It's cheap, easy and can play a role important vehicle performance. You're probably wondering, "But how will I know when to change the filter? I'm not mechanical!" Well puzzled reader, a good rule of thumb is once or twice a year, approximately every 12,000 miles. But keep in mind that the environment can affect this. Obviously, day of dirt road driving will require changing the filter more often than Sunday driving in the city.

If nothing else, learn to change their own air filter. It's so easy and saves you money.

Power you remember your last visit to Jiffy Lube for an oil change? These guys always hit you with patented "You really need a new air filter" online. And you are left wondering, "Do I really need a new one? What do I do? Can you really trust this guy? "If your shock, you say" Ok ", the mechanic then add another set of rates for labor, parts, and a new air filter, whose brand is often a mystery.

Now you can hit the man and simply say "No thanks, I'll do it myself." That if, in fact, what really needs to be done.
