What shape are ball bearings?

This may seem an obvious question that one might think that the ball bearings is a ball. To see the shape of a ball bearing first allows to see how they are made. It may seem surprising, but actually start with a piece of thick wire. Using a process called Cold Heating, the thread is short of the two ends through a machine until it is a small piece, hence the name of the cable is not heated during this process. The machine has a cavity in the form of a hemisphere on each side and closes on the wire to make the shape of a ball. This process leaves a flash around a ball, a piece of metal around of the ball so it looks a bit like the planet Saturn. The balls are then placed into a machine that throws the flash is gone, leaving a very smooth and very perfect ball shape.
So the answer to "What shape is a ball bearing?" Ball is a way right? Well, yes and no, this part of the ball bearing is a ball that is correct, but this is not entirely a ball bearing, you can not put a ball into a machine and expect it to work, you need other parts of the bearing ball bearing for operate.
