Tape â € "still the best backup and archiving

The film is one of the true diehard old die in the world of data storage and archiving. (Remember the firing of the Apollo, when the fate of the astronauts was held by the spinning reels of magnetic tape in the mission control?) But with the introduction in recent decades a great much more modern media â € "optical disks, memory cards and zip drives, for example, friction tape-olds still have a role to play?

If you're a traditionalist, you will be pleased to know that the answer is an (almost) unqualified "yes." The enduring popularity band is due to the wide range of advantages.
