Is it safe to use Rubber Gloves in a fishbowl?
I've been Fishkeeping for a short period of time. And I realized that getting a reaction the skin of the hands due to the dechlorinator or other med-related products to the fish tank water. I've been to several pet shops in my town in search of gloves long arm of plastic tanks, but none is available / I never had. I wonder if I bought brand new rubber gloves (like those used for kitchens), it would be safe for fish? I know rubber and plastic have chemicals, so I'm not sure what to do at this point. I have not used gloves all, I wash my hands thoroughly with water, however, given my skin allergies … I must find a way to put my hands in the tank with gloves … and do not want to kill a fish due to any type of gloves. Votes when it is appreciated. I have said that using sterile gloves med, but are too short for a tank. Thanks
